Due to incredible demand, we have added this extra BR blue locomotive. No. 25278 is a dual-braked Crewe Diesel-based machine from the mid-1980s. This is a Class 25/3 with electronic speedometer and ‘domino’ headcodes together with ‘unofficial’ Bletchley depot stickers. It was, in fact, the last machine to undergo a classified overhaul at Derby in 1981 and worked right up until the end of the type in regular BR service (March 1987).
