If we are satisfying fans of BR blue then we must do the same for green! By the late-1960s a sizeable number of locos were still in original colours when the edict to apply full warning yellow ends was made. This was the condition of D5231, a LMR loco under the control of Derby and, later, the Nottingham Division.
