The two-tone green launch locomotive is No. D7599, a vacuum-brake Tinsley machine from 1966. This Class 25/3 also saw deployment in Scotland before moving on to Toton. It has an early exhaust layout with silencer weather plate and is supplied with both freight and passenger headcodes.
