Class 50/1 No. 50149 Defiance (Railfreight General)

UNDER DISCUSSION with Hornby since it first released its much-acclaimed Class 50 the previous year, we announced the commission of the unique Railfreight Class 50 No. 50149 Defiance in mid-2004. Another obvious choice for us, we found that the new generation model out-stripped its Lima predecessor so comprehensively that an updated model of this freight experiment would be needed. In its Railfreight General garb and supplied with etched nameplates and depot plaques, we were not to be disappointed and this proved to be one of our quickest ever sellers.
